UUM Preschool has a "hands-on" developmentally appropriate curriculum, which focuses on the whole child. The school’s main objective is to provide a nurturing, loving atmosphere that would foster the growth of a positive, healthy self-esteem.

Other Fees
· $35 per child one-time application fee (non-refundable)
· $70/year supply fee for enrolled 2- and 3-year-olds (non-refundable)
· $80/year supply fee for enrolled 4-year-olds (non-refundable)
Partial Parent Cooperation
1. One of each child’s parents (not a caregiver) must spend 5-6 half days (one-and-a-half hours) in the classroom per school year. These days are scheduled, with the parents’ input, before the school year begins in August. Dates may be switched during the course of the school year.
2. Each set of parents must participate in 12 hours of work per year per child for the preschool, outside of the classroom hours. There are plenty of chores (playground workdays, curriculum morning, parent work nights, take-home tasks from teachers, fund-raising efforts, etc.)
Registration
Yearly registration for all classes occurs in January for the coming fall school year. Every child will be re-enrolled annually. Children on the wait list from a previous year will need to re-apply. Age cut-off date is August 31.
