Note: The IFC Food Pantry has been receiving food from the Emergency Food Assistance Program (a federal program) for many years—but due to funding decreases, they are getting MUCH less now than in previous months: This is a huge blow to the amount of food they are able to provide to the 500-600 households they see every month for food. They give out about 1,500 bags of food each month. They need our help! They welcome both food (which can be left in the white collection box at church) and monetary donations (to purchase food).

Project 5000: Give a small contribution of food and see it multiplied into greater usefulness. Pick up a box and shopping list at church during Lent (you can also downlist a shopping list here) and return it to be distributed to those in need through the Inter-Faith Council of Social Service, Robeson County Church and Community Center and Chatham OutrReach Alliance.
